NVM, MY DAD FIXED IT. PROPS TO MY DAD FOR FIXING YET OTHER ISSUE. IM SO SORRY FOR MAKING THIS POINTLESS THREAD :vollkommenauf:
HE USED SCOTCH TAPE TO KEEP IT IN PLACE AND MATCHES TO PLACE IT IN.
Alright so after fixing the power and eject button issue I stumble on yet other problem, the blue ray drive. So at this point I have no screws on the ps3 and I'm just trying to make the blue ray work, I mentioned no screws to ask if that would be disturbing a connection of some sort.
So, basically what happens when I insert a disc it goes in like normal... after its in it makes a weird noise for 1sec and nothing happens and it don't read... I can eject it normal and insert normal but it's not reading.
Lastly, I'd like to ask what the fat white and blue flex cable does under the blue ray. Like which flex cable sends memory to the motherboard to tell it to spin or theirs a disc inside. Theirs a total of four flex cables, A small white and blue cable, a brownish/black cable, a medium sized blue and white cable, in which these stick out. The fat white and blue cable is under the blue ray and is very hard to tell if it's connected and it's very hard to place it.
Could it just be the fact that I'm not placing it right?
I I tryed taking out the three cables that stick out and leaving the one under the blue ray. It just didn't eject so I guess one of those cables control the blue light, the ejecting progress, and the blue light that comes out from the disc drive which is NOT working either :argh:
If anyone can help a guy out or at-least provide a video on how to properly place the flex cable under the blue ray because I've spent nearly 4 hours trying to place it and it's getting to the point where I just wanna smash this right now by the way it's a 2501A PS3 The Flex Cable is not over the blue ray it's under it, thanks.
