What Can I Still do if banned?

Got hit with the banhammer right now :/

It wasn't a console ban, so I can still access PSN on my alt accounts. Question is, since I am not console banned, can I purchase DLC on my alt accounts and it'll be usable on my banned account?

Also, since I game updates doesn't require me to be logged in, I can still get those right?
