I still have the 80gb ps3 I tried to power up a while back but I still did not have a chance to get a corsair with 32amps on the 12 volt rail I have two ps3 power supplies with 32 amps on the 12 volt and 3 amps on the 5 volt I have a setup right now that when switched on the red standby led is not lighting up not sure what is wrong yet I have some awg running from the ps3 psu 12v hole to the 12v pin on the mobo then I have some awg running from the gnd hole on the ps3 psu to the gnd pin on the mobo...I have an awg wire coming from the 5v pin's on the front of the ps3 psu going to the 5v point on the mobo and finally one awg wire going from gnd pins on the front of ps3 psu to the gnd point on the mobo I remember seeing that with one 5v and one gnd connected the standby led should light up because both +5v and gnd wire's are connected so I can use one I also attached a picture of the setup.
