Is this possible (ripping and ext hdd question)

iis it possible to transfer a game that i ripped to my PS3... to an external har drive? if so how is that possible when most games on ps3 are over 4gigs and a ps3 can only read FAT32 HDDs which fat32 doesnt support files over 4gb.. so how would i lets say transfer a 20GB ripped game from my ps3 to an extertnal drive?

Also can i then hook that external to a pc and move the games around (like if i want to store the 20gb game from my hard drive to the PC to save space on my external HDD then transfer the game back to the external HDD from the PC then once its back on the external HDD move it from the external hdd back to the PS3 to play it when necessary?
