Is it safe to update games via multiman?

Hi All,

So being offline for a while from my PS3 just for the fear that someone might update the firmware in my absence. But now I have updated to rogero 4.31 firmware and have made pretty sure that the PS3 wont connect to the internet without me authorizing it each time from the router itself.

now to the question:


1. is there a spoofer available for 4.31 which would not prevent accidental updates? (Probability can never be zero :P)

2. The more important question is if it is safe to update the games via multiman? I mean I dont wat to get caught off guard and update a game only to find out that I am now on an OFW and all my games have stopped working.

3. Can game updates contain FW update files in them too?
