Hi so im on a launch 60 gb cecha01 3.55 kmeaw phat ps3, and am very reluctant to upgrade the CFW. i "try" to keep up on the scene but i really dont like to go threw threads with 100s of posts just to find a few nuggets of actual useful info. i know my questions have been frequently asked before but here i go anyway.
1. if i go from 3.55 to rebug rex 4.21, and say some games wont work on that lower CFW and i want to go to 4.30 rogero do i have to downgrade back to 3.55 OFW every time to jump between higher FWs? i dont have a flasher and since its a launch nand i dont think there is a flasher for it, right?
2. if im only going to play homebrew and PS3 games, and dont care about fake user save data or other debugging options is rebug rex even worth it for my needs?
3. if/when sony come out with a 4.40+ OFW and then say a rogero 4.40+ comes out and im on 4.30 cfw will i have to down grade back to 3.55 every time a newer CFW comes out? dehash with qa flag and all that?
4. what is the brick risk, and reports of bricks with 60 gb launch from 3.55 to 4.30 rogero ?
5. with BO2 what is currently more stable? rex 4.21 or 4.30 rogero?
6. with rogero 4.30 all fixed game updates can just be deleted and the current 4.20+ game updates all work as normal correct?
7. with rogero 4.30 only one usb hdd can be hooked up?
8. games like UC3 that i had fixed for 3.55 can be refixed to 4.21+?
9. if original games that required 3.55 and lower without patches run on higher firmwares, why do fixed games not work on 4.xx CFW?
10. were can i buy a TB dongle thats compatible with 4.31 OFW ( LOL J/K just wanted to make one more stupid question to make it a top 10 list.):dontknow:

also, if i ever want to upgrade the HDD do i have to downgrade to 3.55 first? will it ask me to reinstall the 4.30 OFW if on 4.30 cfw when i swap HDDs or is that just for nor ps3s?
