So, I tried downgrading my PS3 Slim (board DYN-001) with E3 flasher and I followed the instruction from the ultimate foolproof guide. I reached the point of "Finishing the down grade in service mode" where I must insert a dongle.
Well, I tried using TI-89, didn't work at first and nothing happened. Then I used the setting "emulate jig on", and then the calc screen said ok as in finished something. Then the PS3 turned off by itself. When I tried to turn it back on again, it shut itself down in 15 seconds. The light went from green back to red, no sound or anything. Nothing is shown on the screen either. The screen showed the "turn on controller" before I did this, so I think it was working fine until the point I used that TI-89.
Is this PS3 bricked? Can this be fixed?
