Hello Everyone,
I recently bought a ps3 with a bad bluray drive, it has been opened before and more than half the screws are missing from the drive and the case looks like its been through a battle plus the drive sensor is missing to top it all off.
Since there's so much changed my concern is if the drives logic board actually goes with the motherboard or not?
So my question is, Is there anyway i can test this without buying a working bluray drive? i reconnected all the parts and pushed the laser upwards and it does move back into position and it ejects and accepts disks but that's it...no lights from the laser and the disk doesn't spin.
Model is a CECHA01 and the logic board in question is an A3
thanks for the help ahead of time :)
