BD Mirror, Rebug (old version), and "Operation not allowed"

Hi everyone,

When Deus Ex:HR came out, I purchased the ultimate bundle which included a steam license with the game, allowing me to play on my PC while the scene caught up.

However, with the recent 3.6 key release, I thought I'd give it a chance. So I ripped my own game, and have tried patching the eboot on my own (didn't work), and then I tried using the various eboots that I've found floating around. I came upon the solution, finally, stating that to play the game (which freezes at black screen on boot), I need to use the BD Mirror option. However, whenever I try this, I get the error "This operation is not allowed."

I've done research and have found that it's likely that MMCM just doesn't support BD Mirror on my version of Rebug.

So, I guess, here is my question: How do I find out which version of Rebug I'm using, and, would I be better off just switching to Kmew? Would switching to Kmew make my currently working games stop working? And, would it fix the BD Mirror issue?

Does BD Mirroring work on the latest version of Rebug?
